Warehouse Operative (Rotating Day Shift) - Ayr - £23,000 p.a. + benefits

Our warehouse operatives are responsible for unloading and storing stock received from our manufacturing site, along with loading wagons ready for home delivery. The products are mostly mattresses, bed frames, and bedroom furniture (heavy items), so please consider this when applying.

The Role

We are hiring a Warehouse Operative for immediate start, responsible for completing all daily warehouse tasks under the supervision of the Warehouse Team Leader.

Working Hours: Rotating Shift: 5am - 1pm and 1pm - 9pm

Your responsibilities include:
  • Receiving, storing, and loading customer-specific orders and stock into delivery units for dispatch.
  • Accurately picking stock from correct locations to minimize errors.
  • Performing stock counts, safety checks, and processing returned goods as required.
  • Using manual and mechanical operations to move incoming stock from suppliers.
  • Maintaining health and safety procedures and operating standards per company policies.
  • Contributing to a high-quality customer service delivery to uphold our reputation as a leading logistics provider.
