Job summary

Bensons for Beds in Ayr is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team on rotational shifts from 5am to 1pm and 1pm to 9pm. You will handle goods, assist with packing and order preparation, and help maintain a safe, efficient warehouse environment.

We value reliability, attention to detail, and good teamwork. Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not essential, with training provided. We offer both full-time and part-time roles and staff benefits including discounts.

Main Responsibilities for Warehouse Operative Roles

• Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods in the warehouse

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse

Warehouse Operative Skills and Experience Required

• Previous warehouse, logistics, or similar experience is desirable but not essential

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure

• Ability to undertake manual handling tasks and stand for extended periods

• Basic IT skills are an advantage
