Warehouse Operatives (6-Month FTC) - Dyce
Recruiting on behalf of our client

OBM is currently recruiting two Warehouse Operatives for a 6-month fixed-term contract, based in Dyce, to support the operational and logistical functions of a key client.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Activities

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with client contacts to support efficient PO receipt, storage, maintenance, and shipment.

  • Act as a first point of contact for both onshore and offshore users, resolving issues and queries promptly.

  • Manage inventory including processing work orders, stock movements, returns, repairs, and disposals.

  • Coordinate shipments in line with sailing schedules and arrange transport, inspection, and relocation as required.

  • Ensure stock accuracy using SAP; perform stock counts and investigate discrepancies.

  • Handle air-freight manifesting and complete ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements, learning from past issues or trends.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

  • Respond to client requests and queries within agreed timescales.

Health & Safety

  • Take personal responsibility for safety practices, including LSI participation.

  • Maintain excellent housekeeping, ensuring clear segregation of personnel and plant.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Standard Grades/National 5 or equivalent

  • 0-5T & 5-15T Counterbalance Forklift Truck certification
