Job summary

Diverse Talent Solutions Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Support Manager to drive performance in a high-energy cross-dock environment. You will partner with the regional and warehouse managers to deliver efficiency, service levels and structured improvements.

The role focuses on managing day-to-day activity, reviewing systems and policies, and presenting improvement plans after an initial six-week familiarisation.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse activity including receiving, picking, despatching and MHE operations.
• Review systems and processes for continuous improvement; provide SOP gap analysis.
• Review Health & Safety initiatives and update policies.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders on projects and long-term planning.
• Introduce customers and review SLAs; ensure alignment with contract obligations.
• Review MHE Fleet and present recommendations on replacements.
• Review P&L, KPIs and billing to identify variances or cost savings.

Job description

Due to expansion and growth my client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Support Manager. This is a high energy, fast paced operation where service and efficiency is critical. You will be responsible for driving continuous improvements and ensuring operational performance meets business and customer expectations. You will be working in a fast paced cross dock warehouse operation in partnership with the regional manager and warehouse manager. You will have an initial 6 week period getting to know and understand the operation to enable you to present a structured improvement plan.

Duties include and not limited to:

• Support with managing the day-to-day warehouse activity including receiving, picking, despatching and MHE operations
• Review all systems, processes and infrastructure while looking for continuous improvement and provide a SOP gap analysis.
• Review current H & S initiatives and implement any immediate improvements along with a full review of all required policies
• Work closely with internal stakeholders on projects and long-term planning.
• Arrange introductions to all customers and review SLA's in place and ensure all new initiatives are aligned with contract obligations
• Review all MHE Fleet and present recommendations on any additional requirements or replacements
• Review P & L, KPI's and billing to identify and variances or cost savings
