Our client a successful fashion brand house are now looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join their team in Manchester. The successful candidate will ideally come from anE-commerce / fashion wholesale background and have experience withNAVISION - WMS .The willoversee all warehouse activities, ensuring efficient inventory management, timely order fulfilment and a safe, organized environment, while managing a team and collaborating with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

Monitor and manage stock levels to meet customer demand and avoid overstock or shortages.

Ensure accurate inventory records through regular audits and cycle counts.

Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems.

Order Fulfilment:

Oversee the entire order fulfilment process, from receiving orders to shipping them to customers.

Optimize order processing and shipping procedures to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Warehouse Operations:

Plan, organize, and direct warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.

Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe, adhering to all relevant safety regulations.

Manage warehouse space and layout to maximize efficiency.

Team Management:

Lead, motivate, and supervise warehouse staff, providing training and development opportunities.

Evaluate performance, address issues, and ensure team members are meeting goals.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations.

Communicate effectively with suppliers and logistics providers.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify areas for improvement in warehouse operations and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in warehouse management.

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience: Proven experience in warehouse operations management, preferably in theE-commerce fashion or retail industry.

Leadership: Strong leadership and people management skills.

Organization: Excellent organizational and planning skills.

Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and solve problems effectively.
