Job summary

Booker is seeking a Warehouse Team Manager to support the site management team in efficient, cost-conscious warehouse operations. You will oversee receiving, storage, picking and dispatch to ensure on-time delivery and customer service at all times.

You will lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment, focusing on productivity, safety, and continuous improvement using standard Warehouse practices. The role emphasizes strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent recommended to GCSE 4+.
• Experience supervising teams in warehouse/logistics.
• Strong people management to motivate and develop staff.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, productivity, and service standards.
• Health and safety compliance knowledge.
• Excellent planning, prioritisation and multitasking.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Customer-focused with a commitment to service excellence.
• Flexibility and resilience in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities
