Job Description:

Warehouse Manager / Production Manager required to join an industry leading construction specialist. The company specialises within the building envelope sector on a range of cladding projects across the UK. Due to continuous growth, they require an experienced Warehouse Manager to join their team in Birmingham.

Remuneration:

• Starting salary £32,000 - £35,000
• 31 Days holiday (including Bank Holidays, plus additional days for long service)

Working Hours:

07:30 to 16:30 (one-hour unpaid lunch break), Monday to Friday (flexibility is required to meet the demands of the business)

Position Overview:

• Ensure warehouse operates efficiently, supervising, organizing, and training staff, and managing operational goals.
• Develop systems for product handling, storage, equipment use, inventory, and shipping.
• Train and manage staff to solve operational issues and achieve performance goals.
• Oversee daily operations, including production, inventory, and logistics.
• Review workflows, staffing, space, equipment, and action plans to meet standards.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, complying with legal standards.
• Supervise quality assurance, inventory control, logistics, and customer service.
• Schedule and manage the warehouse team to maximize efficiency.
• Inspect equipment and oversee maintenance.
• Meet regularly with the team to analyze productivity and develop plans for loss prevention.
• Manage logistics for transport and communicate with drivers and partners.
• Maintain health, safety, hygiene, and security standards.

Requirements:

• Experience in Warehouse or Production Management roles.
• Construction product knowledge.
• Commutable distance to Birmingham.
