What you´ll do
  • Plan and allocate daily tasks to ensure smooth operation and arrangement of resource utilisation.
  • Ensure all tasks are allocated within the warehouse to ensure that the daily workload is managed and KPIs met.
  • Carryout GEMBA walks and implement actions.
  • Ensure SHEQ standards are maintained, trained, and adhered to.
  • Schedule and manage inbound stock deliveries.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate outbound customer shipments (via road, air or sea), including management of dangerous goods.
  • Schedule, organize and oversee the repacking of products as required.
  • Organise and initiate regular stock checks/cycle counts. Manage annual stock take inline with global corporate standards.
  • Ensure inventory is accurately maintained in SAP.
  • Ensure the warehouse teams adhere to stock processes to minimize stock loss or damage.
  • Manage the warehouse operative(s).
  • Work closely with all other departments to tackle day-to-day issues and get the job done.
  • Oversee the management of goods within the warehouse, and ensure all paperwork and regulations are adhered to.
  • Maintain the warehouse and technicians’ equipment and machinery, including servicing and purchasing.
  • Complete PAT Testing of all Electrical tooling. (Training provided)
  • Servicing / Calibration of QA/QC kits
  • Proactively seek to improve the quality of the warehouse operations.
  • Core hours are Monday to Friday 9:00AM – 5:00PM, however you will be required to do ad hoc overtime on Saturday and Sundays. (Overtime rates provided)
What makes you a good fit
  • Experience managing the storing and processing of chemicals.
  • Managed a small team of Warehouse Operators.
  • Stock/inventory management is essential.
  • Adherence to and reporting of KPI metrics.
  • Forklift operator licence required.
  • Full Drivers licence required.
  • Proficient in MS office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
  • Experience with electronic inventory control system is advantageous, particularly SAP.
  • Can do attitude, solution orientated mindset.
  • Adaptable to change.
  • Able to communicate with employees at all levels.
  • Able to stand for more than 4 hours per day. Able to lift up to 20kg.
