Wagstaff Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Manager in King's Lynn, Norfolk. This manufacturing operation is growing and investing, and you will lead a busy warehouse team.

You will manage day-to-day operations, coordinate receiving, storage and despatch, drive forklift duties, keep stock records in the MRP system and ensure POs and goods in are processed quickly, collaborating with production planners to keep materials moving on time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a warehouse manager.
• Experience leading a small team and training.
• Experience in a manufacturing-connected warehouse.
• Comfortable working in a busy / fast paced environment.
• Must have a Forklift Licence.
• Experience using an MRP system.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of a busy warehouse.
• Coordinate receiving, storage & despatch of goods.
• Lead a team of four warehouse operatives.
• Ensure stock & finished goods are stored & secured safely.
• Hands-on role with forklift and moving stock as needed.
• Maintain accurate stock records on the MRP system.
• Ensure Purchase Orders & Goods In receipts are processed within 24 hours.
• Work with production planners to move production kits & materials on time.

Warehouse Manager King's Lynn, Norfolk

Monday - Friday 7am-5pm (Early Finish Fridays)

£40,000-£43,000

Would you like to work for a manufacturer experiencing significant growth and investment? Following the recent acquisition of additional premises and with order books full through 2027, they are now looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join the team.

Role & responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager:

• Managing the day-to-day operations of a busy warehouse operation
• Coordinate receiving, storage & despatch of good
• Leading a team of X4 warehouse operatives
• Ensure all stock & finished goods are stored & secured safely
• Hands on role with the team, driving the forklift and moving stock when needed
• Maintain accurate stock records on the MRP system
• Ensure Purchase Orders & Good In receipts are processed within 24 hours
• Work closely with production planners to ensure production kits & materials are moved on time

Knowledge, skills & experience needed to be the Warehouse Manager:

• 5+ years experience as a warehouse manager
• Must have experience of leading a small team – setting tasks, prioritise, training
• Previously have worked in a warehouse connected to manufacturing
• Comfortable working in a busy / fast paced environment
• Must have a Forklift Licence
• Previously have used an MRP system
