Are you a hands-on leader with a knack for logistics and a passion for getting things done? We're working with a fast-paced, growing events supply business looking for a driven and proactive Warehouse Manager to join their team in Buckinghamshire.

You'll be stepping into a role that's part leadership, part sleeves-rolled-up delivery - perfect for someone who thrives on variety and responsibility.

The Opportunity

This isn't a clipboard-and-desk type of job. You'll be leading from the front: overseeing warehouse operations, managing stock and logistics, and getting stuck in with the team on deliveries, installations, and client setups. You'll also play a key role in shaping the operation as the business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading, training and motivating a warehouse and distribution team.
  • Planning and optimising logistics and delivery schedules.
  • Overseeing inventory levels and ensuring high warehouse standards.
  • Getting hands-on with event kit: from picking to loading to client delivery.
  • Acting as an on-site representative with clients and ensuring service excellence.
  • Managing fleet operations and ensuring vehicle and equipment readiness.
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety protocols.
  • Monitoring performance metrics and suggesting improvements.
  • Keeping tight control of costs and supporting operational efficiency.
  • Liaising with office-based teams to keep everything running smoothly.

What You'll Need

  • Experience in warehouse, distribution or event operations management.
  • Leadership experience with a practical, can-do attitude.
  • A full UK Driving Licence (essential).
  • Strong organisation and communication skills.
  • The ability to prioritise, multitask, and problem-solve under pressure.
  • Flexibility around working hours, including occasional weekends.

Bonus Points For

  • Forklift licence or HGV licence.
  • Knowledge of warehouse systems or scheduling software.

What's in it for You

  • Competitive salary (£45k-£50k depending on experience).
  • 21 days holiday bank holidays.
  • Uniform and on-site parking.
  • Staff discounts and regular company events.
  • A chance to grow with a thriving business.
