Job description

An exciting opportunity for a dedicated Warehouse Manager who can efficiently handle logistics in a fast-paced automotive aftermarket environment. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, ensure timely dispatch of global deliveries, and manage the overall organisation of the warehouse.

Description

  1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the warehouse in South Oxfordshire
  2. Implement operational policies and procedures
  3. Ensure safety and efficiency of the warehouse
  4. Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
  5. Coordinate global logistics with the 3rd party logistics provider
  6. Plan work rotas, assign tasks, and manage staff performance
  7. Prepare annual budget
  8. Liaise with customers and suppliers
  9. *While this is a management role - there will be a requirement on occasion to use an FLT especially during peak periods

Profile

A successful Warehouse Manager should have:
  1. A degree in business management, logistics or a related field (Advantageous although not essential)
  2. Experience with lean and Continuous improvement
  3. Experience of bonded warehousing is advantageous
  4. Proficiency in WMS software
  5. Strong leadership skills and ability to manage staff (7-20 people)
  6. Excel data analysis, interpretation and presentation
  7. Experience of working as part of a broader supply chain team (Procurement, Demand/supply planning, Import/export/customs)
  8. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  9. Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  10. Strong problem-solving skills

Job Offer

An estimated salary range of £53,000 - £60,000
Annual leave of 25 days
37.5 hours per week (flexible)
