Warehouse & Logistics Manager

Location: Sunbury, Middlesex

Industry: Medical Device Manufacturing

Salary: 38k- 40k per annum

Proactive Global are currently working with a leading device manufacturer based in Sunbury, Middlesex, who are looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual with strong experience in warehouse operations, import/export compliance, and logistics management-particularly within a regulated or technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Import & Export Coordination

• Manage all import/export activities, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
• Prepare and review customs documentation for accuracy and regulatory adherence.
• Stay informed on relevant customs and international trade updates.
  
  

Shipping & Logistics

• Arrange shipping quotes for internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Liaise with freight forwarders and couriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Negotiate rates and terms with logistics service providers.
  
  

Inventory & Warehouse Operations

• Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring accurate records and efficient rotation.
• Oversee goods-in processes to ensure correct and timely receipt of products.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse environment.
  
  

Team Leadership

• Supervise and support warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Allocate daily workloads and ensure high standards of task completion.
• Promote a positive and collaborative working culture.
  
  

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to streamline warehouse and logistics processes.
• Monitor KPIs to drive improvements in efficiency and operational performance.
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in a warehouse/logistics management role, ideally within a manufacturing or technical environment.
• Solid knowledge of import/export processes, customs regulations, and Incoterms.
• Confident working with freight forwarders, couriers, and managing shipping quotes.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
• Proficient with warehouse systems and MS Office tools.
• Clear communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
