Job description

Do you have the drive to take complete ownership of a cutting-edge warehouse operation?

Are you energised by creating innovative systems that deliver exceptional results?

My client is seeking an exceptional Warehouse Manager with the ambition and character to transform their warehouse operations for a thriving manufacturing business with ambitious growth plans.

Based on the outskirts of Norwich, this role offers an attractive salary package that reflects the significance of this key position. You'll be joining at an exciting time as they have recently implemented a new MRP system and prepare to double their operations over the near future.

This isn't your standard picking and packing environment - you'll be responsible for managing approximately 3,000 high-value, precision-engineered components, many of which are small, bespoke items requiring meticulous attention to detail and proper handling.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience establishing warehouse systems from scratch and implementing inventory control processes for high-value components. You'll need to be investigative, detail-oriented, and possess the strength of character to drive continuous improvement across all warehouse operations.

Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you'll have the autonomy to make this role your own - creating efficient systems, ensuring quality control procedures, and maintaining impeccable inventory accuracy for their prestigious motorsport clients amongst others.

Key aspects of the role include:
  1. Complete ownership of all warehouse operations and inventory control
  2. Management and optimisation of the new MRP system
  3. Establishing and maintaining rigorous quality control procedures
  4. Managing receipt, storage and dispatch of precision-engineered components
  5. Driving continuous improvement in warehouse efficiency
  6. Creating robust systems that can scale with their rapid growth

If you're someone who thrives on responsibility, brings positive energy to everything you do, and has the technical expertise to manage complex inventory systems, I want to hear from you.
