THE ROLE

The business seeks a hands-on leader with proven leadership skills. You will oversee a team of warehouse operatives responsible for picking, packing, and dispatching products, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include:

1. Supervising, training, and guiding current and new operatives
2. Proactively assigning tasks to meet objectives
3. Managing all warehouse areas and delegating work
4. Possessing a counterbalance FLT license is desirable but not essential
5. Having Lean process and Health & Safety experience
6. Ensuring a safe working environment
7. Supervising the trade counter and maintaining warehouse upkeep
8. Assisting delivery drivers and ensuring timely order picking
9. Communicating deviations from targets clearly and promptly
10. Taking remedial actions to correct drift and stay on plan
11. Willing to pursue self-development for long-term career growth
12. Familiarity with warehouse-related CRM and stock control management

THE PERSON

Applicants must have warehouse management experience with proven leadership and engagement skills. You should possess the qualities outlined above. As a leader, you will report to directors and collaborate to advance the business.

You should be a people-oriented individual with high energy, effective motivation, communication, and leadership skills. A positive, hands-on attitude and excellent organizational skills are essential, along with experience in prioritizing work and time management. The role offers a great work-life balance with day shifts and opportunities for career development.
