Warehouse Manager Role

As our Warehouse Manager, you must be organized and process-driven, with an eye for detail. You should remain calm under pressure, prioritize your workload, and communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, and couriers.

About the Role

This role is crucial for ensuring the safe, secure, and efficient management of our stock. Experience with inward and outbound goods, inventory management, forecasting, and order preparation is required.

While primarily managerial, this role is hands-on. Dermapure Clinical has doubled its sales in the last 18 months, with growth expected to continue, leading to larger premises and an increased managerial focus in the future. We seek someone excited about future prospects and role development.

The position is based at our head office in Surrey.

Responsibilities and Skills

• Managing Sage 200, our stock and accounts system
• Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets
• Collaborating with the accounts department on stock control and ordering
• Managing goods inward, logging, and storage
• Optimizing storage space and planning for capacity needs
• Overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring safety and cleanliness
• Controlling stock, including reordering, managing product lifespans, and conducting stocktakes
• Preparing sales orders for shipping, ensuring safe packaging
• Communicating with the sales team regarding order issues
• Negotiating courier services and managing relationships
• Preparing and shipping trade show goods
• Ensuring warehouse security and health & safety compliance
• Representing the business professionally and appropriately
• Willingness to travel for meetings and industry events
• Flexibility to perform tasks outside the immediate job scope for business benefit
• Exceptional organization, time management, and communication skills
• Keen interest in the skincare sector is a plus
