A leading logistics provider in Hull is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee the closure of operations at their AkzoNobel site. This temporary role focuses on efficiency, safety, and performance, with management of a team and adherence to budgetary targets. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in warehouse management, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Salary up to £49,000 per annum, with benefits including a company pension scheme and flexible dental insurance plans.
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to lead our team at our AkzoNobel site in Goole. As the warehouse transitions to closure, you'll oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance. With strategic management of colleagues, equipment, and tasks, you'll maintain high performance in key areas such as health and safety, workforce productivity, commercial effectiveness, and KPI achievement, driving results through to the final stage of operations. This role is being offered on a temporary, fixed-term contract ending July 2026. Working Monday - Friday between the hours of 08:30 - 16:30, you will be ensuring the smooth running of the warehouse operation, providing ongoing support and development to keep in line with the agreed budget and service targets.
