Our engineering clients, based near Havant, have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to join their growing team.

This role oversees daily warehouse operations, managing inventory, ensuring efficient storage and distribution, supervising staff, and maintaining safety standards. Strong leadership, attention to detail, and effective logistics skills are essential, with reporting to the Head of Operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Oversee Daily Operations: Manage all warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
2. Inventory Management: Monitor levels, conduct cycle counts, and maintain accurate records.
3. Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and evaluate staff to ensure productivity and morale.
4. Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.
5. Logistics Coordination: Coordinate shipments with suppliers and transport teams for timely delivery.
6. Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and implement optimizations.
7. Quality Control: Inspect goods for accuracy and quality, resolving discrepancies promptly.
8. Reporting: Prepare performance reports on inventory, order fulfillment, and productivity.
9. Equipment Management: Oversee maintenance and proper use of warehouse equipment.
10. Customer Service Support: Collaborate with customer service and sales to resolve order issues.
