Qualifications

• Solid background in warehouse or logistics management within a fast-paced manufacturing setting (automotive preferred).
• Proven people management experience, with a focus on training, development, and accountability.
• Level 2 literacy and numeracy skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all material movements to and from production, ensuring speed and accuracy.
• Drive zero-loss performance for internal logistics operations (OEE).
• Lead daily and weekly logistics reviews, reporting on KPIs and resolving issues.
• Track and report on OEE losses, headcount, and absence levels by Business Unit.
• Maintain full compliance with statutory and safety standards, including racking inspections.
• Manage team training, licensing, and versatility planning.
• Develop, implement, and standardise best practices in internal logistics.
• Lead and manage the internal vehicle fleet and material handling equipment.
• Work collaboratively across departments to resolve logistical bottlenecks.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff to maximise team performance and engagement.

Salary: GBP52,000-GBP55,000 per annum
Hours: 39 hours per week (Day Shift)

Overview

We re seeking a capable and committed Warehouse Manager to lead internal logistics operations at our advanced manufacturing site in Wolverhampton. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for driving efficiency, managing team performance, and ensuring flawless material flow to and from production.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all material movements to and from production, ensuring speed and accuracy.
• Drive zero-loss performance for internal logistics operations (OEE).
• Lead daily and weekly logistics reviews, reporting on KPIs and resolving issues.
• Track and report on OEE losses, headcount, and absence levels by Business Unit.
• Maintain full compliance with statutory and safety standards, including racking inspections.
• Manage team training, licensing, and versatility planning.
• Develop, implement, and standardise best practices in internal logistics.
• Take ownership of KPIs
• Lead and manage the internal vehicle fleet and material handling equipment.
• Promote a structured, disciplined, and proactive approach to operations.
• Work collaboratively across departments to resolve logistical bottlenecks.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff to maximise team performance and engagement.

Required Skills & Experience

• Solid background in warehouse or logistics management within a fast-paced manufacturing setting (automotive preferred).
• Proven people management experience, with a focus on training, development, and accountability.
• IOSH Managing Safely certification (or willingness to complete).
• Level 2 literacy and numeracy skills.
• Proactive, methodical, and tenacious approach to problem-solving.
• Clear and confident communicator with strong organisational skills.
