Your Role
The Supply Chain Team is seeking an energetic and motivated Warehouse Manager to support daily operations at our new Major Component Hub in Great Yarmouth. This facility is vital to the offshore wind sector and handles the storage, maintenance, and mobilization of large, heavy-lift components essential for offshore projects. In this hands-on role, you will be instrumental in establishing and managing the warehouse, collaborating closely with offshore teams and supply chain functions. The role demands excellent organizational skills, technical knowledge of heavy equipment handling, and a safety-first approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all warehouse activities related to major components, tools, and equipment.
- Perform or coordinate routine maintenance and condition checks on stored components.
- Operate and oversee the use of 50 Ton mobile gantry cranes and heavy-duty forklifts for safe movement and storage of large components.
- Maintain accurate records using SAP MM or other inventory management systems.
- Support warehouse setup, including racking, zoning, and material flow optimization.
- Coordinate with the Major Corrective Team and Supply Chain Manager to align operations with project needs.
- Monitor tooling and equipment lifecycles, including calibration and repairs.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are upheld during all operations.
- Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation and readiness.
- Assist in audits, inspections, and operational reviews.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including lean warehousing practices.
- Provide reports and KPIs on inventory, logistics, and compliance.
Requirements:
- Fork truck and gantry crane operator licenses are advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided.
- Experience in operating forklifts and gantry cranes is essential.
- Slinger and Banksman experience is required.
- Minor maintenance experience is essential.
- Experience with SAP Material Management is required.
- Occasional weekend work may be needed.
- Three-week notice period for resignation or transition.

Additional Information:
PPE provided by the client.
Working hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with some weekend work approximately once a month (8:00 am to 4:30 pm Saturday/Sunday).
