As our Warehouse Manager, you must be organized and process-driven, with an eye for detail. You should be able to remain calm under pressure, prioritize your workload, and communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, and couriers.

Experience working in a busy warehouse environment, understanding stock management, operations, logistics, and health and safety, is essential. You must follow procedures and suggest improvements. You should be polite, friendly, hardworking, and take pride in your work.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role involves ensuring the safe, secure, and efficient management of our stock. Experience with inward and outbound goods, inventory management, forecasting, order preparation, and shipping is essential.

Although this is a managerial role, it is also hands-on. Dermapure Clinical has doubled its sales in the last 18 months and anticipates growth, which will lead to larger premises and a more managerial role in the future. We seek someone excited by future prospects and role development.

The role is based at our head office in Surrey.

RESPONSIBILITIES / SKILLS

• Working with Sage 200, our accounts and stock management system
• Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets
• Collaborating with the accounts department on stock control and ordering
• Managing goods inward, logging, and storage
• Optimizing storage space and planning for future capacity
• Overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring safety and cleanliness
• Managing stock control, reordering, product lifespans, and stocktakes
• Preparing sales orders for shipping, ensuring safe packaging
• Liaising with the sales team on order issues
• Negotiating courier services and managing relationships
• Preparing and shipping trade show goods
• Ensuring warehouse security and health and safety compliance
• Representing the business professionally
• Willingness to travel for meetings and industry events
• Flexibility to perform tasks outside of immediate job scope for business benefit
• Exceptional organization, time management, and communication skills
• Interest in the skincare sector is a plus
