Foulger Transport has an exciting opportunity to join its world class Warehouse Management Team. As a Warehouse Manager you will be working both alone and as part of a team with efficiency and commitment to complete your work and strive to maintain the business performance targets.
Monday – Friday
40 hours per week
£32,000 per annum

About the job:

  1. Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
  2. Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
  3. Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilisation
  4. Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
  5. Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements
  6. Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security
  7. Manage stock control and reconcile with warehouse management system
  8. Ensure operation is within agreed KPI’s and budget
  9. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies
  10. Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
  11. Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
  12. Produce reports and statistics regularly
  13. Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
  14. Ensure Product Safety and a Quality Culture is maintained and promoted
  15. Ensure ISO procedure participation and implementation using an Integrated Management System

Your knowledge and experience:

  1. 2+ years’ experience in a Warehouse Supervisory role
  2. Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures
  3. Excellent problem-solving skills
  4. Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  5. Able to work with all levels of staff
