Job description

In the summer of 2023, Kramp completed the acquisition of Genfitt Mayo Ltd (a leading supplier to the agricultural sector in Ireland), aimed at strengthening our market presence and enhancing our portfolio of offerings. This acquisition represents a significant milestone in our growth journey, positioning for continued success and leadership in the agricultural industry in Ireland.

We are now seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team in Co. Mayo. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing and optimizing our warehouse operations to support continued business growth.

What is your role?

You'll play a key role in driving performance, improving processes, and supporting a busy supply chain operation.

You will supervise teams and operations within a warehouse of 20-25 people to effectively manage receipt, storage, selection, packaging, loading, and shipping of products to customers.

Your specific tasks include:

  1. Contributing to reviewing existing operations in your area of work and supporting in generating new ideas to assist in identifying continuous improvements.
  2. Planning and carrying out workplace observations and assessments of operational process skills in line with predefined criteria, providing appropriate feedback to assesses and line managers.
  3. Following the organization's Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions; identifying and mitigating environmental risks and risks to the wellbeing of oneself and others in the workplace; instructing the team in safe working methods; identifying instances of risky behaviors within the team and taking appropriate action, escalating serious issues as appropriate.
  4. Managing on a day-to-day basis the delivery of a broad range of warehouse and store tasks using existing procedures and reviewing to recommend improvements to procedures to ensure all goods and supplies are stored and recorded appropriately.

You will report directly to the Country Director. Your team is made up of a Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse Operators.

Who are you?

For this job we have a couple of requirements:

  1. Proven experience in warehouse/logistics management
  2. Strong team leadership and advanced communication skills
  3. Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence
  4. Post-Secondary Education or Equivalent Level of Work Experience
  5. Experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised (3 to 6 years)
