Our client is currently recruiting for a Permanent Warehouse Manager to join their team.

This role is ideal for someone who has great management skills and qualities, who wants a better work/life balance. Our client prioritises their staff wellbeing and ensures all employees feel part of a team leading to great reviews from their long term employees.

This is a very hands on role.

Position: Warehouse Manager

Location: Antrim

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £40,000 per annum

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 6am to 4:30pm


Duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Picking orders and loading of vehicles
  • Inspecting and approving the quality and quantity of goods or equipment received and shipped out.
  • Overseeing the logistics of receiving, warehousing and dispatch operations
  • Communicating and interacting with Staff, suppliers and customers
  • Meeting regularly with the warehouse team to assess, analyse and develop actionable plans to improve accuracy and productivity.
  • Daily checks completed on all FLT equipment and defects reported
  • Ensure the warehouse operates to peak efficiency - with customer satisfaction the primary goal, supervising, organising, and training warehouse employees to meet targets or goals.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations.
  • Maintain a clean & tidy warehouse and surrounding area.
  • Leading the annual stock takes within the warehouse with regular cyclical counts completed and recorded.
  • Involved with the recruiting, development and training of staff
  • Keeping a high standard of stock accuracy through regular cyclical counts and stock checks.
  • Previous Warehouse Management experience
  • Valid clean UK driving license
  • Experience in checking goods inward and outbound
  • Experience in checking FLT
