Job summary

Kuehne + Nagel in Southampton seeks a Multitask operative with Warehouse experience to act as the focal point for End User demands and manage daily warehouse tasks.

You will process demands, update systems, notify on forecasts, operate MHE, and support continuous improvement while ensuring accuracy and security compliance in a fast-paced environment. Shifts include 6.30am–3pm and 1.30pm–10pm.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail with a right-first-time approach.
• Good communication skills in a busy environment.
• Willingness to learn and be flexible in shifts.
• Full driving licence is essential; operate MHE as required.
• Computer literate with MS Office experience.
• Experience or training on MJDI/SAP is desirable.
• Able to work in a security-sensitive role and obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Act as the focal point for End User demands.
• Process all demands within a timely manner.
• Provide notifications to higher authority for supply issues (AOG).
• Inform End User of forecast delivery dates (FDD).
• Update LogIS and customer systems with FDDs.
• Notify End Users of supply status and alternatives.
• Receipt, issue and dispatch materiel to and from the UK Apache AH-64E Warehouse.
• Operate MHE as trained and reposition material as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and QSHE activities.
