Job summary

DPDgroup is hiring a Warehouse Logistics Operative at our Tamworth site in the United Kingdom. This permanent role is 40 hours per week with a 16:30–01:00 shift, five days a week.

You will be on your feet throughout the shift as the backbone of our logistics operation, ensuring parcels are picked, packed and moved efficiently. Key duties include loading/unloading, packing, weight handling up to 25 kg, using our tech to direct parcels, and operating MHE such as Counter Balance, Flexi, and Man

• Salary: £30, - increasing to £32, on completion of relevant MHE training
• Hours of Work: 16:30 - 01:00
• Days of Work: 5 days per week

DPD Logistics are a fulfilment warehouse; we hold stock for a number of key customers at our site in Tamworth and as a Warehouse Logistics Operative you will be required to pick and pack to meet consumer demand.

This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift but as a warehouse operative you will be the backbone of our logistics operation playing an important role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service. Key duties include;

• Loading and unloading, scanning, picking and packing parcels with precision.
• Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!).
• Using our tech to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time.
• Operation of different Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to including Counter Balance, Flexi Trucks and Man Riders

You’ll receive: Full training from Day 1 and all required uniform and PPE
