About The Role

Boldyn Networks is seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Manager with exceptional skills and extensive experience to oversee our inventory and asset management operations across various sites. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all warehouse facilities.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and implement warehouse and logistics strategies that align with company objectives.
  • Manage and maintain inventory levels across all locations, aligned with procurement strategy and ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain asset management systems to track and manage company assets effectively.
  • Coordinate with various departments to forecast inventory needs, manage obsolescence, and plan for peak periods.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement, including ways of working and health and safety practices.
  • Collaborate with supply chain partners to optimise transportation costs and delivery times.
  • Utilise technology to improve inventory management and logistics operations.
  • Prepare and manage the warehouse budget, and report on performance metrics.
  • Ensure the safe operation of spaces within the warehouse facilities, with up-to-date H&S briefings and logs for visitors and employees.
  • Understand and align with the company's policies and vision, developing long-term warehousing and logistics strategies.
  • Ensure stock control systems are current and inventories are accurate, with planning for future capacity requirements.
  • Organise recruitment and training of warehouse staff, monitor staff performance and development.
  • Liaise with internal customers to monitor service quality.
  • Oversee planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and equipment used within the facilities.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing inventory across multiple locations.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
  • Proficient in warehouse and inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
