Job description

Kameo Recruitment is proud to be exclusively partnering with a highly reputable and growing business based in Bar Hill, to recruit a Warehouse & Logistics Manager. This isa newly created position, where you will be able to utilise your skills and experience in streamlining processes and procedures, within a small but busy warehouse. You will work closely with the customer service team and have two direct reports.

Hours of work: Full time, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Duties & Responsibilities of the Warehouse & Logistics Manager

  • Responsible for regular stock checks & valuations using Sage 200
  • Manage all processes to ensure timely delivery to customers
  • Implement & manage improved stock control & location processes
  • Packing & despatch of customer purchase orders
  • Creation of courier paperwork & manifests
  • Pro-actively manage courier relationships for both imports and exports and evaluate potential new services for enhancement of inbound & outbound services
  • Manage the electronic submission of import tax declarations
  • Update existing & develop new KPI's to identify issues & trends (required for group reporting)
  • Regularly review and investigate alternatives for environmentally friendly alternatives to our current packaging supplies

Our client is looking for someone with previous experience within a warehouse or logistics position but is open to consider candidates who are looking to take the next step within their career.
