About the role

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Keeper to join our dynamic team at BYD UK. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of warehouse operations, supporting our mission to provide innovative energy storage solutions.

Location: Hounslow/Birmingham, United Kingdom

Main Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage all administrative functions related to warehouse operations.
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of inventory and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, receipts, and shipments.
  • Work closely with logistics, suppliers, and project teams to ensure timely and efficient material handling.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse.
  • Regularly reconcile shipping and receiving data with the HQ.
  • Assist with scheduling, tracking, and documentation of all inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to coordinate logistics

Ideal candidate profile:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or logistics administration role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in warehouse environments is a plus.
  • A current full clean UK driving licence
  • Right to Work in the UK
