Pay: $20-$28 an hour depending on experience

Job Summary

Thank you for considering the Warehouse Inventory and Distribution Specialist position! Our company operates over 19 locations across five states. We are seeking talented individuals to join our team and help expand our business.

As a Warehouse Inventory and Distribution Specialist, you will play a vital role in our operations by ensuring all shops have the necessary supplies to operate efficiently. Your responsibilities include inventory management, supply tracking, budgeting, vendor interactions, and collaboration with our support center.

Job Duties

The following is an estimated weekly breakdown of your responsibilities, which may vary daily, weekly, or monthly:

  • 50% of your time:
  1. Warehousing
  2. Shipping and receiving duties
  3. Warehouse inventory management
  4. Lumping
  5. Cost analysis
  6. Non-CDL truck driving for deliveries as needed
  • 25% of your time:
  1. Purchasing
  2. Setting PARs by liaising with our central commissary, shops, and intercompany customers to determine supply needs
  3. Monitoring PAR levels and communicating supply issues to the support center
  • 15% of your time:
  1. Vendor management coordination
  2. Researching vendors for the best deals
  3. Presenting vendor options to support center for decision-making
  • 10% of your time:
  • Order picking

Additional duties as assigned.

Experience and Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Post-secondary education is a plus but not required
  • 3+ years in inventory management, warehousing, or similar roles
  • Knowledge of supply cost analysis
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with inventory management systems and software
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with internal and external customers
Job-Specific Requirements
  • Ability to lift objects weighing 50 lbs or more
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Physical ability to bend, twist, pull, lift, kneel, squat, and perform other warehouse activities
