Ashton Recruitment is recruiting General Operatives for our client in Warren Point, Newry. Immediate start available for a temporary ongoing assignment.

Role includes loading/unloading, housekeeping, and general duties in an industrial environment. Own transport and full UK driving license are essential due to location, with a 7:00–16:30 (Mon–Thu) and 7:00–16:00 (Fri) schedule and £13.08 per hour pay.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an industrial/ warehouse/ manufacturing environment.
• Own transport due to location - Full UK Driving license.
• Heavy lifting.
• Flexibility.
• Excellent attendance and timekeeping.
• Good attitude to work.
• Willing to undertake any task to the best or their ability.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the loading and unloading of containers.
• General housekeeping duties.
• Assisting in the movement of goods.
• Lifting, Loading and Carrying.
• Working to deadlines in a safe, timely fashion.
• Complying with health and safety regulations.
• Loading and unloading timber into machines.
