Job summary

JDR Recruitment is seeking a Warehouse/FLT/Driver for an Accrington vacancy. The role is a temporary to permanent position within a small warehouse team, with clear progression to a long-term career in an established company.

Working hours are 8.30–5.00, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours). The role includes picking/packing, light production, housekeeping, and driving company vehicles including FLT, with safety checks and overtime availability.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience required.
• FLT experience required.
• Valid driving licence.
• Ability to work on own initiative and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing of items of various sizes.
• Production work including cutting of pipes, grinding, painting, and assembly.
• Housekeeping and general warehouse duties under supervision.
• Driving company vehicles (up to Flatbed) including loading and unloading.
• FLT driving duties with safety checks and reporting concerns.
• Observe and follow standing operating procedures and health & safety rules.
• Ensure tools and equipment are cleaned and stored after use.
• General warehouse duties.

Our client are a leading supplier and are looking for a candidate to fill a temporary to permanent opportunity working alongside a small team in the Warehouse and Logistics Department.

This is a great opportunity for a candidate looking for a long term career in an established company in Accrington.

Responsibilities to include :

• Picking and Packing of Items which can be of various size
• Production work (Some cutting of pipes/grinding/painting and assembly)
• Housekeeping duties & general warehouse work under the supervisor
• Driving company vehicles (up to Flatbed), including loading and unloading of items
• FLT Driving (License required) - carrying out safety checks and reporting concerns
• Observe and follow Standing operating procedures
• Working to Health and Safety Procedures
• Ensuring all tools and equipment is put away and cleaned after use
• General Warehouse duties
