Job summary

ARM LIMITED in the United Kingdom is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join the logistics team. You will drive 3.5T vans, operate forklift equipment, transport materials between locations, load and unload goods, and support goods in/goods out activities while keeping accurate records.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, forklift certification (or willingness to obtain), a solid understanding of health and safety, and good written and spoken English.

Qualifications

Job description

• Ensure excellent housekeeping standards within the warehouse
• Remain vigilant regarding FOD (Foreign Object Debris) control
• Support managers and team leaders with ad hoc operational requirements Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record
• Previous experience driving commercial vehicles, including vans
• Forklift experience and certification (or willingness to obtain certification)
• Experience operating material handling equipment
• Previous warehouse, logistics, materials support or supply chain experience
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Ability to obtain and maintain BPSS/security clearance
• Flexible approach to working rotating day and night shifts
• Good level of written and spoken English

Desirable Experience

• Aerospace, aviation, defence or military environment experience
• Experience working within a Part 145 regulated environment
• Experience in secure or restricted-access facilities
• Knowledge of airworthiness and logistics procedures
