Job summary

Aspion Drivers, based in Dyfed, are seeking a Warehouse Operative / HGV Driver to support day-to-day warehouse operations and make deliveries to customers.

The role involves loading/unloading, picking/packing, stock checks and ensuring safe handling of materials. Monday to Friday 07:30am – 4:30pm, with a focus on accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV licence appropriate to the delivery vehicle.
• Driver CPC and digital tachograph card where required.
• Previous warehouse and commercial driving experience.
• Experience within metal stockholding or industrial distribution would be advantageous.
• A forklift licence would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out customer deliveries safely and efficiently, using vehicles covered by your licence.
• Load and unload vehicles, ensuring materials are secure and protected.
• Pick, pack and prepare metal products for dispatch.
• Receive incoming stock, check delivery paperwork and report discrepancies.
• Store materials correctly and support stock checks.
• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment where trained and authorised.
• Complete vehicle checks and maintain accurate delivery records.
• Provide a friendly, professional service when delivering to customers.
• Maintain a tidy warehouse and follow safe handling procedures.
• Support the wider team with general warehouse duties as required.

Aspion are supporting a metal stockholding business in Dyfed in their search for a Warehouse Operative / HGV Driver. This is an all-round position, supporting the day-to-day warehouse operation and making deliveries to customers.

The Role
