Dispatcher - Warehouse & Logistics

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am- 4pm
Location: Woolwich, London
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Type: Full-time, Permanent

Our client, a long-established leader in the manufacturing and distribution of high-quality natural ingredients, is seeking a Dispatcher to join their warehouse operations team. This is a highly active and hands-on role, suited for someone reliable, detail-focused, and experienced in logistics and dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and palletise finished goods for customer dispatch

• Ensure all goods are correctly labelled, securely wrapped, strapped, and packed to specification

• Load goods onto the correct couriers for shipment via road, sea, and air

• Understand and follow international shipping requirements, labelling regulations, and courier standards (advantageous)

• Follow customer-specific packing and dispatch instructions with precision

• Load and unload delivery vehicles using a Forklift Truck (FLT)

• Accurately complete dispatch paperwork and ensure traceability

Requirements:

• 3-5 years' experience in a dispatch or warehouse environment

• FLT licence and hands-on experience essential

• Trained in handling and shipping hazardous goods

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in labelling and packaging

• Strong ability to follow procedures and work independently

• Good time management and ability to meet dispatch deadlines

• Physically fit and comfortable in a demanding warehouse setting

• Dependable, team-oriented, and quality-conscious
