Job summary

Coveris UK in Burnley is seeking dedicated warehouse operatives to join our packaging facility. You will support production with materials, move goods, and prepare despatch orders, ensuring accurate stock updates and safe, tidy operations.

The role requires a forklift license, willingness to work a mix of 12-hour day and night shifts, and a commitment to continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment. Starting salary £27,584 per annum with good benefits.

Qualifications

• FLT forklift license required.
• Willingness to work 12-hour day and night shifts.
• Proactive, positive and enthusiastic with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Supply production with required materials.
• Move WIP materials and finished goods between production and warehouse with accurate system updates.
• Wrap, label and locate pallets correctly.
• Process raw materials returned to stock including weighing, labeling and recording in SYSPRO.
• Assist with out-of-hours despatches and courier coordination.
• Support goods-in: unloading, checking deliveries, labeling and storing.
• Pick and prepare despatch orders and assist with loading transport.
• Maintain a tidy and safe working environment in warehouse and yard areas.
