Job summary

Millbrook Healthcare is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Plymouth to support the community equipment service centre. You will decontaminate equipment, manage stock, label and log items, and assist installers with picking, packing and loading.

The role requires initiative, reliability and willingness to join a weekend rota, with full training provided on systems and procedures. A driving licence is preferred for occasional field support.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse/decontamination experience is desirable; full training will be provided.
• Computer literate; experience with stock management systems advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with the team and external suppliers.
• Hard working, driven and motivated; keen to develop within the role.
• Full UK driving licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination of community equipment
• Day to day efficient running of the warehouse and decon areas
• Stock management including labeling and logging of equipment
• Picking, packing and loading equipment to assist with the installers
• Logging special orders and communicating receipts to the customer services team
• Updating of order and stock systems with use of scanner
• Quarantine, sterilise and re-pack equipment and ensure paperwork is documented, logged and filed
• Maintenance and housekeeping of the service centre, including in some cases repairs of equipment including PAT testing
• Participation in an ad-hoc weekend rota
• Occasionally assisting the field-based Installation Technicians
