Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting a reliable and hardworking Warehouse / Counterbalance Forklift Operative to join a busy warehouse team in Wednesbury on a temporary ongoing basis. This hands-on role combines forklift operation with general warehouse duties, and requires a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.

Location: Wednesbury, Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. The role offers ongoing work for the right candidate and a supportive team environment within a well-established client.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Experience in a warehouse environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and adherence to health and safety procedures.
• Physically fit with manual handling duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload deliveries, ensure goods are handled with care.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately.
• Move stock throughout the warehouse and assist with stock organisation.
• Carry out goods-in and goods-out duties.
• Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required to support the team.
