What will this role achieve?

Working as part of a team in the warehouse, you will support the Team Manager by organizing and distributing tasks daily. You will monitor and report on performance, prioritize tasks to meet departmental targets, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. You will also maintain high standards for audits. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop supervisory skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee, monitor, and record shift productivity.
• Ensure availability of people and materials, and allocate tasks daily.
• Be the main contact for inbound/outbound goods during your shift.
• Liaise with other departments within and outside Supply Chain.
• Support labor management planning processes.
• Maintain team training and skills.
• Oversee warehouse operations in the absence of the Warehouse Team Manager.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and health & safety standards, maintaining a safe workplace with no accidents.

Working Hours: Week rolling rota: pm – am. Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday. Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Week 4: Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

Desirable:

Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
