Job summary

Pickfords is seeking an organized Warehouse Controller to join our Manchester team, ensuring our warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently with accurate records.

You will manage documentation, update systems, handle consignments, conduct quality checks, liaise with customers and internal teams, and operate forklift trucks safely. We offer 25 days leave, pension, Cycle to Work and a long-standing UK heritage.

Qualifications

• Organised and proactive Warehouse Controller with strong admin and data-entry skills.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics or storage operations.
• Valid forklift truck (FLT) licence.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Commitment to accuracy, safety and high service standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse documentation and records.
• Update operational systems accurately and efficiently.
• Photograph and process consignments received into storage.
• Carry out quality checks on goods received and dispatched.
• Liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure service delivery.
• Operate forklift trucks and warehouse equipment safely.
• Assist with warehouse and road crew duties as needed.
