About The Role

As a Warehouse Controller at GSF Car Parts, you will be responsible for motivating and leading a team of Warehouse Operatives. Your role will ensure that stock levels meet sales budgets and that the warehouse's operational functions run smoothly.

Main Duties include:

1. Manage the organisation and performance of the Goods In, Goods Out, Returns, and Stock Control departments to ensure efficiency.
2. Pick and load vans/carriers accurately for timely customer delivery.
3. Verify stock quantities against computer records.
4. Use judgment and initiative to develop effective solutions to challenges.
5. Ensure smooth operational functions of the warehouse and assist the branch manager with holiday/sickness cover, weekly planning, team development, and coordinating with drivers for optimal delivery service.
6. Create a positive environment where employees are valued and can reach their potential.

Working hours: Average hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working.

About You

You should have a proven track record of managing a warehouse, ideally in a fast-paced environment such as FMCG.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Customer and sales focus.
• Experience with MAM is desirable but not essential.
