Job summary

GSF Car Parts is seeking a Warehouse Controller to lead a busy team and ensure stock flow supports sales budgets. You will manage goods in/out, stock control, and customer deliveries while maintaining a positive environment that enables staff to reach their potential.

The role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills, plus the ability to stay calm under pressure and focus on customer service and efficiency in a fast-paced FMCG setting.

• Provide cover for holidays/sickness and plan weekly workloads.

About the Role

As a Warehouse Controller at GSF Car Parts, you will motivate and lead a team of Warehouse Operatives. You will ensure stock can deliver sales budgets and that warehouse operations run smoothly.

Main Duties

• Manage the organisation and performance to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Goods In, Goods Out, Returns and Stock Control departments
• Pick and load vans/carries accurately for timely customer delivery when required
• Check stock quantities are correct against computer records
• Use personal judgement and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles
• Assist the branch manager with holidays/sickness cover, preparing weekly plans, developing the warehouse team and working with drivers to ensure the best delivery service for customers
• Create a positive and supportive environment where employees are valued and can reach their true potential

Working Hours

Average hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working.

About You

As the Warehouse Controller, you will have a great track record of managing a warehouse, ideally gained within a fast‑paced environment such as FMCG.
