About the Role

Our operation runs 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, with that brings a wide variety of shift patterns – if you're looking for flexible working to fit around your lifestyle, then look no further! We will work with you on your shifts, but late and weekend working is a requirement of the role, and we may need to be flexible with your work pattern.

Our stores are packed with thousands of products, from clothes and household items, through to tinned foods, frozen goods, and chilled produce. Without our warehouse teams, these products wouldn't be on the shelves for our customers! Our warehouse teams pick and organize the right products to ensure they reach the right stores at the right time. It's a vital part of our supply chain, offering fast-moving, busy, and varied work.

As part of your role, you'll complete a Level 2 warehouse operative apprenticeship and be responsible for:

• Replenishing stock of all shapes and sizes in the warehouse
• Picking stock either by store or by product type and preparing deliveries for stores
• Using all our equipment (full training will be provided to ensure safe and effective use)

If you're interested in pursuing a career in logistics through the completion of a Level 2 apprenticeship alongside your job, this could be the perfect role for you! You will receive support from our apprenticeship provider, Babcock, and your line manager throughout your 12-month journey. Please note, passing functional Maths and English tests is required unless exempted due to prior learning.

About You

You should be naturally friendly, enthusiastic about learning new skills, and eager to work with your team to deliver excellent results. You will work accurately and efficiently, caring about delivering goods 'on time in full' to ensure stores have the right stock at the right time, keeping products available for our customers. You must also be willing to commit to the 12-month Level 2 warehouse operative apprenticeship.
