About the Role

Our operation runs 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, with that brings a wide variety of shift patterns – if you're looking for flexible working to fit around your lifestyle, then look no further! We will work with you on your shifts, but late and weekend working are required, and we may need to be flexible with your work pattern.

Our stores are packed with thousands of products, from clothes and household items, through to tinned foods, frozen goods, and chilled produce. Without our warehouse teams, these products wouldn't be on the shelves for our customers! Our warehouse teams pick and organize the right products to ensure they reach the right stores at the right time. It's a vital part of our supply chain and involves fast-moving, busy, and varied work.

As part of this role, you'll complete a Level 2 warehouse operative apprenticeship, and you'll be responsible for:

1. Replenishing stock of all shapes and sizes in the warehouse
2. Picking stock either by store or by product type and preparing deliveries for stores
3. Using all our equipment (full training will be provided on how to use it safely and effectively)

Support will be provided by our apprenticeship provider Babcock and your line manager throughout the 12-month apprenticeship. Please note, you will need to pass functional Maths and English skills tests to be eligible unless exempt due to prior learning.

Your goal will be to deliver goods to stores 'on time in full,' ensuring products are always available for customers. You should be willing to commit to the 12-month Level 2 warehouse operative apprenticeship.
