We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Warehouse & CNC Programmer / Operator to join our team. The role involves handling and operating CNC machinery as well as managing warehouse tasks.

The Renew Centre is a state-of-the-art facility, with a dedicated team to enable us to make the most of our clients’ existing office furniture. We refurbish and remodel the assets and return them at a fraction of the cost of buying new.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the workshop Supervisor
  • Maintain productivity throughout the working day.
  • Producing and refurbishing items to a high standard of quality.
  • Motivating colleagues to achieve deadlines and short lead times.
  • Ensuring compliance is adhered to including Health & Safety, Weekly / Daily checks, and regular machine maintenance.
  • Operating and programming CNC Machines (5 Axis & 3 Axis), Beam Saw and Edge bander.
  • Prepare framework ready for respraying & Delivery
  • Use tools and equipment with care and precision.
  • Assist with general warehouse tasks such as organizing inventory and maintaining a clean workspace.

Skills/ Experience:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum 2 Years’ experience working with CNC Machines.
  • Desirable but not essential to understand Biesse Operating software such as B-Solid and Sintra. Training will be provided if not experienced with Biesse.
  • Experience with ROVER B EDGE, Rover K and AKRON Edge bander with Air Force System.
  • Able to carry out manual labour such as assembly and fitting of furniture within the workshop.
  • Have a general idea and experience working with hand tools.
  • Understand the tooling and feed speeds for correct use to avoid breakages and damage to the parts.
  • Able to understand different material compositions using the correct tool on the machines to process.
  • Forklift Licence desirable but not essential. (Training can be given)
