Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Cleaning and Waste Operative to work in a warehouse environment in Gateshead. You will be responsible for general cleaning, tidying all areas including washrooms and canteens, and for managing waste disposal.

No prior experience is required as full training will be provided. You will use cleaning equipment and products, adhere to Health & Safety policies, and may be required to complete a Basic Disclosure Check and drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning and tidying of all warehouse areas, including washrooms and canteens.

• React quickly to client call-outs and comply with Health & Safety policies.
• Manage waste disposal.
