Job summary

Lidl in Runcorn is seeking a Warehouse Cleaner to help keep the warehouse spotless across all areas, from loading bays to the car parks. The role offers AM & PM shifts, a 16 - 40 hour contract, and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Have a keen eye and attention to detail.
• Experience in cleaning or maintenance (beneficial but not essential).
• Follow internal guidelines and standards; Corporate Code of Conduct.
• Be flexible and willing to execute tasks (excluding picking).

Responsibilities

• Clean all warehouse areas including floors, fixtures and spillages.
• Remove and dispose waste packaging to minimise trip hazards.
• Ensure clean-as-you-go stations are stocked (tissue, hazard signs).
• Clear fire exits of blockages and litter.
• Empty recycling stations and move to Recycling areas.
• Operate cleaning machinery with confidence.
• Maintain hygiene and Health and Safety standards at all times.

What you'll do

• Cleaning all warehouse areas, including the floors, fixtures, fittings, and mopping up spillages
• Removing and disposing waste packaging from the warehouse floor to minimise trip hazards
• Ensuring 'clean as you go' stations are stocked e.g. tissue roll, hazard signs
• Clearing all fire exits of blockages and litter
• Emptying the recycling stations and moving them to the Recycling areas
• Confidently operate cleaning machinery
• Proactively make sure that hygiene and Health and Safety standards are met at all times
