Job summary

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for Warehouse Cleaners for a temp to perm role at a large distribution centre based in Sutton-In-Ashfield.

You will clean warehouse floors, facilities, and offices, follow COSHH guidelines, and help with deep-cleaning projects. Shifts are 7am–7pm on a 4 on 4 off cycle, paying £12.94 per hour. This is an Employment Business role.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or industrial cleaning experience.
• Experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers.
• Understanding of COSHH regulations.

Responsibilities

• Clean warehouse floors using sweepers, scrubber machines, and manual cleaning equipment.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste according to site procedures.
• Clean staff facilities including canteens, break rooms, toilets, locker rooms, and offices.
• Ensure walkways, workstations and loading areas remain clean and hazard-free.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and consumables.
• Report maintenance issues, spillages, hazards or damaged equipment.
• Follow health and safety procedures and COSHH guidelines.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and correctly.
• Support deep-cleaning schedules and special cleaning projects.
• Maintain accurate cleaning records where required.
