Qualifications

• Experience as Inventory Supervisor or Capacity Planner.
• Knowledge and understanding of master data.
• Proven track record of working on a Warehouse Management System.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 4 warehouse operatives to ensure correct stock moves.
• Allocate stock to zones based on master data.
• Move stock within zones based on speed of movement.
• Liaise with warehouse and purchasing teams to resolve issues.

Space and Capacity Planner

Up to £40,000 + Package

Monday to Friday Day Shifts

Rotherham

Are you a Inventory Supervisor or Capacity Planner with experience in using a Warehouse Management System? My client is a global brand experiencing a period of growth and IT transformation.

The Space and Capacity Planner is responsible for managing space allocation within the DC. This includes, moving stock dependent on it’s speed of movement, allocating new SKUs (new to range and new ranges), liaising with various teams to resolve any issues, including Goods In, Putaway and Purchasing, and ensuring space is accurately recorded, managed and forecast.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage a team of 4 warehouse operatives to ensure all stock moves are done correctly

· Allocate stock to zones within the building dependent upon it’s master data

· Move stock within zones dependent on it’s speed of movement

· Review master data to ensure it is populated correctly

· Liaise with various warehouse and purchasing teams to resolve any issues

· Record, manage and forecast future space usage

· Ensure one off requests such as special orders are actioned appropriately

· Provide information around NSPs (non stock products) to aid decision making

Experience:

· Knowledge and understanding of master data

· Proven track record of working on a WMS

· Experience managing a small team of warehouse operatives

· Confident and experienced user of the Microsoft suite, in particular Microsoft Excel
