Initial 6-month temporary contract

On-site

Shift Pattern:
Rotating 3-shift pattern, Monday to Friday:

Monday to Thursday: 6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am

Friday: 6am–1pm, 1pm–8pm, 8pm–3am

Your role will involve supporting our operations through the safe and efficient use of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including Reach Truck and Counterbalance Forklift. This role is responsible for operating an automated palletisation system and performing various warehouse tasks to ensure a smooth supply of products to our customers.

Key duties include unloading and storing inbound deliveries, loading outbound goods, completing system and delivery documentation, and maintaining accurate pallet tracking. You’ll also be responsible for the operation and basic maintenance of the automated palletising equipment, including clearing blockages and reporting defects. Occasional use of a scissor lift may be required.

The role involves regular cleaning tasks in line with site schedules, as well as safety checks such as MHE inspections, risk assessments, and 6S audits to maintain safety and organisation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operating MHE to unload, store, and load goods safely and efficiently.
  • Maintaining and running the automated palletisation system, including routine cleaning and fault resolution.
  • Completing delivery and dispatch paperwork and using Warehouse Management Systems (e.g., Autostore/JDE).
  • Ensuring accurate pallet management, including tracking and supplying production with pallets.
  • Maintaining safety and cleanliness standards through regular checks and audits.

Requirements:

  • Valid Reach Truck and Counterbalance Forklift Licences
  • Experience in a warehouse environment with goods in/out and stock handling
  • Hands-on experience with machinery, including automated systems
  • Good IT skills, including Warehouse Management Systems and MS Office
  • Strong health & safety awareness
