Pontefract (Home of Butterkist Popcorn)

Initial 6-month temporary contract

On-site

Shift Pattern:
Rotating 3-shift pattern, Monday to Friday:

Monday to Thursday: 6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am

Friday: 6am–1pm, 1pm–8pm, 8pm–3am

Join our snack-loving team! We're looking for a Warehouse Operator to join our team at KP Snacks. This role involves supporting operations with Material Handling Equipment (MHE), operating automated palletisation systems, and performing warehouse tasks to ensure smooth product supply.

Key duties include unloading inbound deliveries, loading outbound goods, completing documentation, maintaining pallet tracking, operating and maintaining automated equipment, and occasional use of a scissor lift.

The role also involves safety and cleanliness tasks, including MHE inspections, risk assessments, and audits to ensure safety standards.

What will you be doing?

• Operate MHE to unload, store, and load goods safely and efficiently.
• Maintain automated palletisation systems, including cleaning and fault resolution.
• Complete dispatch paperwork and use Warehouse Management Systems (e.g., Autostore/JDE).
• Manage pallets accurately, including tracking and counting.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards, perform equipment checks, and participate in audits.
